• Just having gutters in in Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth or San Antonio is not enough. Keeping them clean and repaired is the key to a successful gutter system. Otherwise, your gutters could do more harm than good. Leaks, overspills and other issues can damage your siding, roof and foundation.
• Gutters also help make your home look good. The right gutters can act as accent pieces for the visual aesthetics of your exterior design. However, they also help your home look good by preventing the buildup of mildew and grime that would form on your siding, if the gutters were not in place.
• It is of the utmost importance that the gutters be installed correctly, especially the downspouts. Improper planning will cause the downspouts to spill water towards the home, instead of away. This will lead to rot, basement flooding and structural issues.
